The Life of Runescape
Hello again ;)
Do you remember what you were playing in the year 2001? Probably you were playing the new MMO called Runescape. Today, in 2017 Runescape is already 16 years-old.
Feeling old yet? Know the feeling ;)
Timeline
First off all the classic Runescape was released in January 2001.
In April 2004 Runescape 2 was released and in March 2008 it was time for Runescape in HD.
In March 2013 the old school Runescape was released and 4 months later, Runescape 3
was released.
Statistics
In 2013 Runescape released their statistics.
Imagine what the statistics should be by now ;)
Runescape dying?
Runescape is for sure less popular that in 2001 but it’s still active and everyone knows about it. I’m even playing it sometimes when I’m in class.
There are still hundreds of thousands players online every day and the most players (like me)
play the old school Runescape because it’s from our old-day and it’s easier.
