What's up, guys? How are your weekdays going on? I just want to hear good news from you guys. Ok, yesterday, I reviewed about fighting video game and today, I run out of the idea. I don't know what video games should I review. If you guys have any suggestion, please tell me and I will review it for you. I just was googling which video game that good to be reviewed, I found an interesting video game named Virtua Fighter 2. So, I will not talk too much here and let's review the video game.

VIRTUA FIGHTER 2
Virtua Fighter 2 is a fighting video game. This video game was developed and published by Sega. Actually, it is a sequel to Virtua Fighter which I never played. Virtua Fighter was made by Sega AM2 team which was led by Yu Suzuki. In the beginning, it was aimed at arcade machine in 1994 but later it was ported to several platforms such as Sega Saturn in 1995 and Microsoft Windows in 1997. Then, in 1996, Virtua Fighter was remade and released for Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.
This video game has breakthrough graphics at the time because Sega's Model 2 arcade hardware was utilized to get a high resolution. Compare to its predecessor, this video game looks much better. There is some new feature that is introduced in this video game such as the use of texture-mapped 3D and motion capture animation technology. The version of Sega Saturn achieved a much good response from video game experts for its graphics and gameplay. In addition, it was one of best sellers video games in Japan.

Gameplay
Virtua Fighter 2 adapts 3 dimension graphics and fighting as its genre. The model of this video games is the same as other video games that have the same genre. This video game is easy to play. The player just needs to pick up a fighter that they want to use to defeat a set of opponents. The type of attacks in this video game is quite simple such as kick and punch. The number of rounds in each match is two. The winner can be decided if they have win two rounds in the row but if the player and the opponent have won for one time, there is third round to decide the winner. Then, if the time runs out and there is looser, the winner will be decided based on how much the health bar left.
As common fighting video games, each fighter has their own fighting style which is based on the real martial arts such as wrestling, taijutsu, and kung fu. There are many unique moves that owned by fighters. But, it's like its predecessor where some fighters have the same moves because they master the same martial arts. For example, Lau Chan and Pai Chan have the similar moves because they use Kung Fu as their martial arts.
Another new feature of Virtua Fighter 2 is two new characters named Lion Rafale who is an expert in mantis-style and Shun Di who is a drunken kung fu master. Moreover, These two characters have another special ability which is named "axis strikes". When they perform this ability, they surround the opponent to release the attacks. This move emphasizes the game's 3D nature. In addition, Virtua Fighter 2 added the variety of attack that owns by each character.
Plot
Virtua Fighter 2 is a unique video game. Usually, there is a storyline in each video game when the game begins. However, this video game has no something like that. It means that the player doesn't have the main object that must be completed. You must defeat every opponent in each match to be a winner. This video game depends on a fighting tournament where the strongest fighters in the world will compete for fame and glory. The tournament is held by the sinister syndicate named J6. They have an intention to make their fighting cyborg named Dural to be more powerful by gathering the information from the fighters. For your information, Dural is the game's boss.

My Opinion
I have explained some important information about this video game and also played this video game. Now, it's time for me to write what I'm thinking about this video game. There is no special about its storyline. There are a variety of characters than the player can choose. Each fighter has their own special martial art and ability.
