Propagating by burying branches

In those two unclear photos below I want to show you how we root some fruit and nut bushes for creating more plants of the same.

It's a very simple way. Just use one of the lowest branches and put the middle of it in the soil. This way the branch remains connected to the mother plant and grows and in the same time the buried section grows roots!

We use a small piece of another tree shaped like a letter Y. With that small piece, not sure of the name, we stick the branch to the ground. It keeps it from getting out of the soil.

Just push down the Y until the branch is put in the ground, resting in the base of the Y, as the photo shows.

In late autumn we pull out of the Y, then dig out carefully the branch, then cut it below the roots that have formed and plant this rooted cutting! That all!
