New bug eating plants for my garden! (HUGE CANIVIROUS PLANT UPDATE)
Some new breeds of carnivorous plants to add to my garden! I couldn't be more excited!
I now have a Sundew plant and another breed of Pitcher plant!
The interesting part about about owning and watching these plants grow is the bug eating part. DUH! Haha and I'm most excited about the sun dew plant. It basically grips the plants using sundew to initially trap them. It then wraps up much like a python wraps its prey up. It makes a circle around them. Very cool concept. Cant wait to see that in action
It seems as though all of my plants have begun going into dormancy because of the winter. They have stopped producing new leaves. I am interested to see how they last through winter, seeing as this is my first winter with these plants.
I've been bringing them inside my house because its said they will die in any weather below 40 degree farenheit. We shall see how their dormancy period goes and how they last in the winter.
