[Color Challenge Green Mint Thursday] My mint is still rockin and we had snow last two days! I keep picking down past first node to just above second node, like I do with basil. This cause new fresh potent growth and the plant to spread. Mint is rhizomatic all parts are seedable, the super cloner in a way.,.. and it will spread fast, great for breaking up clay soils and adding support to many other plants I use as an ever growing/harvesting boarder plant. Simple recipe, snip 2 or 3 tops, boil 16oz of water, then add mint steep for about 3-4 minutes. serve hot or cold, great for stomach health and balance and is wonderful when you have tummy aches. Tea time....
