Pakistani mulberries in multiple stages of ripening
The Pakistani mulberry trees are putting off the goodies this evening! This variety of mulberry is by far....our favorite! They really pack on the weight and juice! Adding a white Pakistani to the food forest soon! We are also growing white mulberry, oscar, peruvian, illinois everbearing..and black weeping. The Pakistani mulberries though...are soooo sweet....mmmmmm! I could eat a bucket full...but...we inhale them one at a time as they ripen!

I never test it. I think it is sweet and yammy. There is no mulberry in Bangladesh. I miss it. Thank for jucy sharing

I grow these here in Australia. They ripen and are in season here in August-September. They are great!
Yours look great and nice and long which is good. I have a shorter variety of mulberry that grows only 1.5inch to 2inch or so.
cheers!!!!!! thanks so much! i wonder what variety is is you have there. this family of trees sure spread itself FAR and WIDE!!! we have a few of the shorter varieties growing in our forest too, like the oscar variety...and a weeping black...and illinois everbearing...and a white mulberry. but by far...these pakistan varieties...are so much sweeter! i hear the white pakitstan is one of the best!!! i haven't tried it yet...but we are adding the tree to our forest.....so maybe in a year or two. :) thanks for stopping by!!!! take care!
I'll try to find out. I planted it ages ago when I was a kid. I'll try to write a post about it when it is in season this year and get some good photos.
I've only ever eaten the white mulberry variety once on a friends' farm when I was a kid. I can't remember the exact taste except that it was really tasty and I remember enjoying the flavour.

i hear ya!!!!! mostly only see white mulberry at the box stores and nurseries around here. most the time its non fruiting too!!!!! we've ordered most of ours online. ;)

I first had a white mulberry dried in Iranian trail mix, truly floored me how sweet they were. We planted 100 mulberry seedlings this yeAr, so there'll be plenty of trees to graft ;)
