The grapes are ON in Southern Utah!
We have multiple grape vines growing in our food forest and the Thompson seedless grape is always first to ripen. Super sweet grapes! They handle our heat well and are very reliable as far as harvests. They grow vertically/horizontally..along our neighbors fence. Nothing quite like fresh fruit and berries right outta the garden! We are out gobbling them up this afternoon!! Cheers to growing our own food steepshot and steemit!

Your grapes look wonderful. I have been wanting to grow grapes for a while. Do you have any tips for someone growing it for the first time? How old are your vines to produce so much grapes? Hope my food forest can be as bountiful as yours one day. Thanks for sharing your photos.

we plant with lots of worm castings...and azomite. then...sit back...and watch them thrive. so many variables...to specific locations...but the great equalizer is the wood chips IMO. James prigioni... @gardeningchannel dives deep into the why of using wood chips in your food forest. the plants ALL thrive...over time.
Thank you for your reply. I also use lots of worm casting, azomite, mykos and wood chips, so I guess I already have the right start for growing grapes :) . It's funny you mentioned everything I use as well. They seem to be the right combinations for growing just about everything. Ten years, wow your food forest is very established. Your photos inspire me to grow my own grapes for sure. I will do some research for the variety for my area. Thank you for the video. I watch James prigioni on YouTube all the time. Love what he is doing here on Steemit, too.
