Tour of our 2018 Garden

After what seemed like an unending winter, we finally have our vegetable garden in the ground. In this video I take you through the approximately 2000 square feet of space we've dedicated to annual vegetables. Everything was started from seed ourselves! For our family of 5, we hope to be able to grow most of our own food (in this space and in other spaces around our home, including a food forest we've begun work on, which I plan to make a video of as well). Every year we learn more and more of how to become self-sufficient.

We will make another video further in the season when the garden is further along. Enjoy!

(Note, the blackberry, raspberry, and grape bushes seen in the video are not part of our annual vegetable garden, and we did not start those plants from seed ourselves. I just pointed those out because they're beside our veggie garden.)
