Sustainable Breakfast Feast at the Garden of Eden
It's the first feast of the day! We made an über dank breakfast for our guests this bright, fine, chilly spring morning!
We prepared a yummy feast of breakfast treats on the indoor wood burning stove. We kept our space nice and cozy, heated water, and cooked our breakfast over fire! This is a sustainable fuel source that totally bypasses fossil fuels and the huge cost of extracting them from our Earth.
And it was of course delicious!
We fried eggs & bacon and served it with an incredible orange cranberry French toast with warmed maple syrup on the side.
The French toast was a big hit! We soaked a toasted flax muffin in a delicious custard bath with lots of cranberry orange pop, then grilled them to a golden brown on each side.
We fried a big cast iron skillet of bacon for our meat eaters.
Then we made delicious, nutritious omelets filled with yummy cheese!
Food is important and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food. We want to remind everyone to let food be your medicine too!
