Is there life outside Earth?
Life requires many things in order for it to be present; and if those things aren't present, life isn't present. I don't know if there's life outside Earth; but if there is, it may be good news or bad news, it all depends on what the other form of life wants to achieve, and how strong it is.
Life needs water, oxygen, energy (in the form of food), heat and many more things to be present, but this is not necessarily true for alien life. Those are the thing, together with many more, that make life possible. In order for there to be life on other planets, those other planets would have to be so specifically designed for life; and if those characteristics of the planet doesn't completely suit life, then there would most probably not be life.
If you gather all the information together, it becomes clear that there could be life somewhere in this universe. I know that life is an extremely complex thing to form, and that it's very rare; but, the universe is huge, and there is so much about it that we don't know. Our technology can only help us discover things in our reach, which could be the reason why we haven't seen other life yet; or maybe, there just isn't any.
Now lets assume that there is other life out there. If there is in fact life out there, it would probably be to far for us to reach; so, it would probably not influence us or cause problems; unless, that life which we had discovered is more advanced than us. If there is life out there, do you think that this form of life will be similar to life found on earth, or would it be different? In the end of the day, we won't really know all the answer to those questions.
There is a low chance of there being life in the universe: even though the universe is so huge, everything needs to be perfect for there to be life. Maybe there was once life somewhere in the universe which had already been extinct, who know? With that said, what are your thoughts of life outside planet Earth? Do you think there is life out there? If so, is it more intelligent forms or not?
