I heard that news too and it is circulating all over the globe now. Im just wondering, the team was inside a cave a kilometer away from the surface - still there is air inside it?
I hope they will all survive this tragic event they are in.
There was suspicion that there were "chimneys" located throughout the cave that were supplying air to the interior. Also, the cave is not sealed off by water most of the year - this is a point of some controversy in the country, as the soccer coach that brought them in there was almost certainly aware of this as it is clearly posted at the cave's entrance. As the days went by, the oxygen level started to drop and this is why there was a real sense of urgency in the past few days.
