RE: Final Fantasy XIV : a real letdown
Final has been one of my favorite RPGs, like to spend my boring moments on games, its a great way to kill time. FFXIV indeed didnt reach expectations the way i was hoping it would, Square Enix's effort to immotalised final fantasy went a little off this time in terms of gameplay though, the worlds still continue to be wonderfully done, the musical arrangements also deserve an applause, i enjoyed every single bit of it, the reduction in graphic quality is however a let down don't you think so? Apparently it was to enable smooth play on Pcs too
i never really thought about the graphics being reduced to accommodate PC's, probably because my own rig is far more powerful than a console but yes, i think you have a point there. They want to be able to engage as much of the PC market as possible and to do so they would need to make the minimum req's as low as they can. Good eye!
