My entry for girlsfoundation review contest: Visiting the less privilege
Helping the needy and less privilege is always an act that is appreciated and an honourable one at that. Most people adore such acts and i am definitely one of them. This is a very nice gesture @girlsfoundation and for thinking of doing this for these kids is a great blessing. I couldn't agree more about the success of your visit to the Lemu Orphanage. The smiles i see on the faces of they kids says it all.
Some of these kids hardly have reasons to smile in life, they often look down on themselves and it is in few occasions that you find them happy and smiling like this and making them fill this way is a great thing on your own part i must say. They kids are so warm and welcoming too and that prayer session must have been very adorable. I have visited some orphanages too and one thing i admire and love most about them is their singing. They are usually good at it and too bad you guys did not capture it. Such lovely and angelic voices they always have and it just makes me smiling all through.
That's a lot you carried and don't say it is little because as long as it comes from a cheerful heart and one filled with love, it is so appreciated. It is not the quantity of stuff that matters but the heart that it is coming from. I mean, take a good look at they kids, do you think it is really the gifts that has lightened and brightened them up this way? No, it is your presence that has done the trick. Most at times we mightthink it is the gifts that make them happy but the truth is, what truly makes them happy is your presence, the attention you've given them, the moment you share with them, playing with them and making them feel that there are people out there that love and think about them is what really makes thwm happy and that you guys did so well.
@faetee did a nice job with the stories and kind of really made great picks. The kids responded quite well meaning the story was enjoyed, educative and storyteller did a great job. So nice work to @faetee for doing a great one with the stories and i must agree that it was for sure the interesting part even though i can bet the singing would have been the interesting part for me with no doubts. The picture session too seemed fun and nice pictures too i must say.
This is so lovely to see and kind of reminds me of when my community GLOW Com visited MISSPA orphanage. Those were one of the best moments of my life and the feeling i got seeing the children so happy gave me this inner peace, joy and glow.
I am sure you felt it too and experienced that wonderful feeling too for sure. It is one that money cannot buy and only such occasions can give it to you. Nice work @girlsfoundation and i must say i love what you are doing and your reward can only come from above. Keep up the good work and continue to change lives and someday this World might just become a better place.
Too bad it is girlsfoundation because i wanted to be part of it but guess males are not allowed or can i?
Sorry for my long review but i just can't help myself. Such topics and occasions that i love so much just makes me pour out emotions. I can just go on and on and on and on....
