Here we are at the long awaited post announcing the giveaways for February!

First of all, let's start with what they are:

What's with the "up to" thing? Well, it's a way to tell you that participation counts. The more engagement, the more giveaways. Don't worry, I don't intend to keep them to myself if you do your part well.

Rules to participate:

If you have promoted, talked positively about #Steem on any other social media networks, youtube, blogs, or your own website (other than the types before), comment below with a link to one of your posts ("evidence"; again, posts on Steem do NOT qualify for this giveaway!). Great replies to other posts may count (not spam). The post must be public and shouldn't need an account on that particular platform, being friends, or member of a site to see it, and it should be published / uploaded prior to the publishing date and time of this post.

In short, this month I want to reward people who promote Steem outside Steem.

No other condition to participate is necessary!

Giveaway Eligibility

Pay attention to this as it's important to know if you are eligible for one of the rewards or not.

Only people who respect the rule above may be rewarded, but not all are eligible and from those eligible some may not win, if there are many participants.

Eligibility for SBI units (also known as 'SBI shares')

Anyone who respects the rule above and also meets these conditions:
~> has less than 500 SP (preferably less than 100 SP)
~> has powered up at least once during the last 60 days
~> has never powered down
~> has a history of upvoting often so that the delegation won't be underutilized
~> can be a bonus (but not an excluding condition) if the participant has approved or approves before I select the winners at least 5 witnesses, or sets a proxy for witness voting

SBI Units for Resteems

Part of the 10x SBI units are reserved for people who make sure this post becomes popular. It will be a random draw, but most likely 3x units will go to one of the resteemers, possibly more 1x units to other people who have resteemed this post, if many do. But thank you all in advance!
