To hear God's voice - Are you ready to listen?

Hearing God's voice is something that we all desire. But did you know that it is not difficult at all to do that? In fact, God wants you to hear His voice! He does not speak to us through a shiver in your liver or with strange vibrations or through mediums. Hearing God's voice is just as natural as hearing your best friend talking to you. Moreover, we can hear Him every day and not only on special occasions or by expressing special incantations or formulas. He speaks to us at the natural moments in life. Do you want to hear God's voice? Then you have to be ready to listen.

To hear God's voice - Why do you want to hear Him?

Why do you want to hear God's voice? That may seem like a stupid question, but motives are important in everything we do. The Bible says the following about God's Word:
"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

To hear God's voice in the Bible

"God has spoken to man The Bible is His Word given to us to make us wise so that we can be saved".

The Bible itself states: "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1: 1). In another place we read: "Every scripture is inspired by God and can be used to teach, to refute errors and, and to raise up to a virtuous life" (2 Timothy 3:16).

You may have heard that the Bible is just a book written by people, but the Bible itself claims to be God's Word! Can we trust that? The evidence from history, archeology, fulfilled prophecies, and personal testimonies over a time span of thousands of years is overwhelming evidence that the Bible is indeed God's Word.

Do you want to hear God's voice? Then read the Bible. Look for a good daily reading plan and then stick to it.

Do you want to hear God's voice? If so, you may already hear Him, for it may be that He is the one who gave you this desire to hear Him.
