Progress and regression are equally set, competence and vulnerability too; - to achieve a strong Ego, that is, psychosocial maturity and integration between the ego and identity and group identity means having a realized I concept. An epigenetic pattern for personality development - the key to the explanation of the personality should be sought not in "invariable" human nature but in the particularities of the environment. This new moment in the interacting person in a social environment outlines the problem field.

This is also the starting point of Eriksson's revision of orthodox psychoanalysis. In the core of his original concept of identity, he becomes the so-called epigenetic pattern of development conceived as an extension of Freud's psychosexual model. In it, the logic of psychosocial development remains, but the dynamics of libido is subject to psychosexual development. The Erisson model has eight stages in personal development. In the course of ontogenetic development, with an increase in the radius of action and the ability of the person to communicate, his / her interpersonal relationships are expanded. . This is set in the sphere of social relations. Parallel to this expansion, society brings to the individual new and new expectations of socio-psychological maturity. It requires mastering the skills that a particular culture considers to be inherent at any given age.

The achievement of each successive age characteristic is associated with stress and risk. It goes through a crisis of man's efforts to meet the expectations he has put forward. If the dilemma presented in the dilemma of successive stages is successfully solved, the individual directs his efforts to solve the tasks of the next stage, the basis of which is already achieved. Or vice versa - failure is equivalent to a lack of adaptability to life, even a neurotic state. As new expectations are directed towards the person, the implementation of which is difficult without the realization of the previous ones. Successful solving of the psychosocial tasks of each preceding stage creates the opportunity to reach inner-psychic integrity, harmony, unity of the person at the last stage of development. At this stage man is faced with the task of uniting the legacy of his past with the realities of the present moment. He is now confronted with the need for a complete understanding of his biography. Finding the meaning of life-giving and reconciling with death is tantamount to a positive solution to the existential problem.

Karl Gustav Jung / 1875-1961 / is a Swiss psychologist and psychiatrist. He was born in the family of a pastor, as a child was too closed. He received medical education in Basel. As an assistant in a mental hospital, he is interested in schizophrenia. At the shelter he reads Froid's book. "Interpretation of Dreams". A correspondence between the two starts. An international psychological association headed by Jung was established. In 1913. breaks out in their relationships, and then states that he has discovered a new approach to the person embodied in spiritual aspirations. In view of Jung 's style and its breadth of intellectual quests, his analytical concept is the most difficult to comprehend. According to him, soul (similar to personality) consists of three distinct but interacting structures: - ego - it is a center in the sphere of consciousness. It is a component of the psyche, includes thoughts, senses, memories, thanks to which we feel our integrity, perseverance and perceived as people.
