Jesus's Crucifixion and Resurrection on God Waves from 12 PM Central, 5 PM UTC
Easter Sunday Edition
Dear Friends,
Jesus's crucifixion was an accomplishment, not a defeat.
Our Heavenly Father came down to earth, humbly became Flesh and Blood -- one of us, yet, He did not sin. God set a trap for Lucifer. No man was free of sin but Jesus, Son of God.
Only a human who was incorrupt in all his ways was able to purchase us with his pure blood to atone for our sins.
In today's Easter Edition of GodWaves, we are exploring EVIDENCE of Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
Many are sceptical, because it seems so outlandish, the concept that one would rise after dying. Yet, the entire Christian faith rests on this remarkable miracle.
Jesus conquered death. His victory on the cross gives those who believe in Jesus and declare Him LORD of lords and their Saviour eternal life.
In in our faith in Christos, we have purpose and HOPE.
1 Corinthians 15:12–23 (KJV 1900)
12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
If there is time, I may read from Wendy Alec's Book 2 of the Chronicles of Brothers an account what happened during the 3 days between Jesus' Crucifixion and His Resurrection.
