EXPERIMENt 1;THE RELEASE OF HYDROGEN GAS AND DISPLAY OF ELEPHANT TOOTHPASTE:
APPARATUS:

• Round bottom flask
• Beaker
• Liquid soap
• Potassium pamanganate (KMn04
• hydrogen peroxide

PROCEDURE:
Put the KMnO4 + (potassium pamanganate) into the round bottom flask.
Place a little quantity of liquid soap and shake After that, gently pour the H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) into the solution
OBSERVATION:
We will observe a great quantity of lather popping out forming the elephant toothpaste it began to grow by pouring out gradually but forcefully Apart from that, a gas named hydrogen gas will be released.

EXPERIMENT 2:TEST FOR HYDROGEN GAS.
APPARATUS:

• Round buttom flask

• Beaker

• Potassium pamanganate (KMnO4).

• Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).

  PROCEDURE:
  Mix H2O2 in a round bottom flask containing KMnO4 .

  OBSERVATION:`
  It creates/produces a vigorous reaction which produces hydrogen gas.
  The gas coming out is hydrogen gas. when a matchstick is lightened very close to the gas, it gives a poping sound.
