The Steemit Food Chain : A MUST READ

in #goldenproject6 years ago

Steemit is a food chain, and like every food chain, they are those at the top and bottom, those who have plenty, and those who dont. Today I'll be out lining the levels of the chain. Let's start with the minnows.
image
The Minnows: The minnows are the bottom feeders, these are the people who just joined the platform and don't fully understand what steemit is about and like any food chain, the bottom feeders are the populace. Some minnows don't survive( leave the platform) but some survive to grow to the next level, the sharks.

image
The Sharks: When you get past the minnow level, you become a shark. Sharks ratings are usually from 40 to 49-50. Just as the name implies, sharks are hungry for upvotes hoping to rise above their present level. They understand the platform but are trying to make ends meet. They aren't considered minnows anymore and hence don't get too much support from the whales and dolphins. It's a tough point in the food chain.

The Dolphins: Then we have the dolphins. The people in their 50's. Making a quick buck on each post. Quite settled but not settled enough. Dolphins start to reap the benefits of their effort. Their ratings are usually from 51-59. It's still quite hard, but progress is continuous. They try to get a reputation and the good ones tutor sharks and minnows beneath them. After work and struggle they finally hit it big, they become whales.

The Whales: Disregarding whatever science you know, on steemit Whales rule the sea. They range from the blue whales in their 70's to the humpbacks and sperm whales on their 60's. It is everyones dream to be a whale. Their upvotes feed minnows, their comments are highly regarded. They are the kings of the sea. Whales are gregarious, they move in groups, feeding each other. Some whales make the platform way better for the rest of us making contests, communities and other vices such as @teardrops . Encouraging and building other steemians such as @surpassinggoogle and @vermilionfox and many others which in my time I have encountered.

The steemit platform is a sea. A food chain, a jungle. You just struggle to survive.
Hope you liked the post. Don't forget to resteem and upvote. Thanks for reading.
