Google Lied About "Dragonfly" China Censorship Project According To Leaked Transcript
Dragonfly is creating quite a controversy for Google.
This is the codename for their search engine project that censors searches like "human rights", "student protests", and "Noble Prize". It is done to appease the Community Party in China in an effort to break into that country.
This led to the departure of 7 Google employees along with drawing the criticism of human rights groups, members of Congress, and Vice President Mike Pence.
