We've been through a bunch of exciting times together, and an exciting time it is again. The turmoil on the markets, specifically the low value of STEEM, has caused the SBD-debt-ratio to go above 5%, and thus: liquid rewards are no longer paying out any SBD.

This circumstance doesn't play too well with the googly-prize-pool-mechanics, STEEM and SP rewards are contributing to the delegation fund while SBD rewards are paid out as cash prizes. It's nice to have a quickly growing delegation pool, but doing without any cash prizes at all is a bit lame!

Unless the markets see a swift recovery, this is possibly going to be the situation until HF20 (aka "Velocity") gets activated in late September. I might have to make some changes, but for now, let's sit tight and watch the situation. @googlyeyes has a few SBD saved from comment-rewards that will allow us to bridge the gap for today.
