If conciousness created the universe then animals and humans were consciously created. If they were consciously created, then there is a reason that animals are animals and humans are humans. Thus, humans are not animals. Humans are more than animals. To conflate humans with animals is to denigrate the higher and anthromorphise the lower. Animals are not capable of stories, yet humans are. Thus, not everything is a story. Yet some people seem to have swallowed the ‘blue pill’ that everything is simply what we tell ourselves it is. All the single-minded belief of a planet of 7.5 billion people cannot change a single factual Truth. And thank Goddess for that.
