Update on Amazon Merch Rollout to Amazon.De and Amazon.Co.UK

So this recent change to Amazon Merch regarding rolling it out to Amazon.De and Amazon.Co.Uk seems to be one of the most confusing ones yet.

Amazon announced this to us on our Merch Dashboard back on July 30, 2018. Since then I've been hearing a lot of people talking about what this program is going to look like, and most of what I've heard has been inaccurate so wanted to set the record straight and give you guys an update on what this program is looking like.

So I've not yet personally been invited and I'm at Tier 2,000. I have a couple friends and viewers who are Tier 4,000 and higher who are in the program.

So first off Amazon is being pretty secretive about this. I've seen some of the introduction e-mails and they literally say Top Secret and not to talk about this.

So initiially after this was announced I heard people saying you'll be able to list shirts on the German and UK Amazon and that you'll need to hire translaters to write your titles, bulletpoints and descriptions in German. Both these things are not the case at least from what I've seen from 3-4 other sellers.

So here's the main differences. At least for the first couple months you won't be able to list shirts on these sites or select what shirts are listed. Amazon is going to pull shirts from your existing catalog which they feel would be a good fit so you have no say in which designs are moved over to DE and UK.

From what I've seen your shirts on Amazon.DE will not be in German, while the rest of the Amazon site is in German, at least at this point in time your Title, Bulletpoints and Description are all in English.

One other interesting thing I saw of the couple people I talked to all had shirts automatically imported to DE and UK, however one individual I spoke with had one particular shirt of his which they gave him the choice if he wanted it posted on DE and UK. They wound up getting a new dropdown on the manage products page that said "pending your approval" and there was one particular shirt which he had the option of listing on UK and DE.

What was really wierd about that was all the other shirts were automatically done and this one particular shirt they gave him the choice.

That's really the main things about this policy but are in contrast to what I've been hearing others say on message boards and merch groups so just wanted to get a video out there updating you guys on what's going on. I havn't been invited yet however I'm hoping in the comming weeks they'll start moving my designs over there.
