The other seven national channels, including state-run television channels, are taking services from Bangabandhu-1 satellite. The state-run three channels are: BTV World, Parliament Bangladesh Television and BTV Chittagong.
On the other hand, there are seven private channels, including Time TV, DBC News, Independent TV, NTV, Ekattar TV, Bijoy Bangla and Baishakhi TV, which have been using Bangabandhu-1 satellite transmission for the last few days.
However, there is also a connection to foreign satellite apster connections in the channels. Because the notice has to be given three months before the service is canceled to cancel the contract. These private TV channels will give the notice in January. According to Bangladesh Communications Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL), these seven channels will be transmitting only through Bangabandhu-1 from March.
DTH company RealView recently signed a contract with BCSCL on television transmission. As a result, within a short time, they will start broadcasting 48 TVs in the country and abroad through Bangabandhu-1 satellite.
It is known that beyond this, two local VSAT companies will also be quick to argue with the BCSCL. If that is the government's first satellite to start earning quickly

On 11 May, after launching the satellite in space 119.11 in space, it was told in November that satellite-maker company Thalass Alenia Space, the satellite's manufacturer, told BCSCL. And due to this, it was a lot of delay in starting commercial activities, says BCSCL concerned
Meanwhile, there is nothing to mention about private satellite televisions, but the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission has decided that broadcasters from Bangabandhu-1 will be allowed to come to the service of new licensees.
Through this, the BCSCL's earning a sure income was also confirmed.
After making such a decision in a commission meeting recently, the BTRC has now added the terms of the spectrum allocation to the television.
TeleTivisions also get licenses from the Ministry of Information, but they have to come to BTRC for Spectrum. Although satellite satellite company Bangladesh Communications Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL) will give spectrum to the television. But the BTRC has to take its clearance.
BTRC acting chairman Zahurul Haque told reporters that they think that the condition of Bangabandhu-1 satellite is necessary to make the business successful.
