Green Thursday for #colorchallenge
For Green Thursday I'm using all photos from my own landscaping that I took with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. This first one is of one of my hibiscus plants before it started blooming. You see the first bloom just starting to form in the middle.
This one is my potted fern, which sits on my front porch in between my two rocking chairs. It was a Mother's Day gift from my son and daughter-in-law and I'm hoping to be able to keep it alive in the house during the winter. I haven't had much luck with the ferns in the house over winter but maybe this time will be different. If anyone has any tips for their winter survival, please let me know!
This last one is a desert willow tree, one of the three that sits along the north facing garage wall. These are tall and grow rapidly. In the three years since I planted them, they have gone from 6 inches to 6 feet and I even cut the tops of them off this spring because they had reached the edge of the roof overhang.

Lovely photos. I wish I could help you with that fern, which are supposed to be so easy to grow, but mine drop their leaves steadily until they are dead dead dead soon after I bring them in the house. I wish you the greenest of green thumbs.
Greens.... Good for eyes.! Some believe starring at greens everyday will improve eyesight.
