Reading some further articles on Steemit you may not be able to link you Steemit account with Byteball yet due to technical problems so please be patient...
UPDATE: I still haven't received the referral fee. In case you have received multiple times some bytes, very likely somebody else has 'hijacked' it and claimed the referral fees.
