Why is the information about Gridcoin's polls hidden?
Gridcoin has two polls about changing Gridcoin 's operations, but no information about them is available. The wallet links to a Reddit thread about Gridcoin, but has no posts about the polls, as though that would be a good place for discussion. Google searches only return references to the Reddit thread. This lack of transparency will ultimately hurt Gridcoin and lower its value. I can't vote because I don't understand the issues, which is probably the point.

The following polls are completely invalid:

Anyone can create polls, so some shit polls will end up being created. Just ignore bad polls.
Anyone with enough GRC (>100k, I think?) can create a poll. So the mere fact that a poll has been created doesn't imply that it's meaningful. It could have been created by someone without a clear understanding of procedures. If a poll is badly formulated, the community will just ignore it.
Currently, people are working on improving procedures so there are fixed requirements for a poll in order for it be considered valid: https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@jringo/pre-poll-discussion-poll-defintions
As for the two polls you're talking about, I don't intend to participate. I doubt they'll get enough participation to mean anything.
These polls are invalid for that very reason. Anyone can make a poll. If they have enough balance. That doesnt automatically mean they are valid
