Gridcoin Mining: Status for CW40
Hi everyone,
Last week we return from our holiday, to discover that my machines went offline (yes, I forgot to pay the invoices from my internet provider), therefore, the score for the CW40 is heavily affected: 25,527 BOINC credit points.
Main contribution is coming from the World Community Grid initiative (75.07%), while the rest were awarded for my work for the SETI@home project (24.93%):
The reason to keep my CPUs dedicated to the World Community Grid, is to take advantage of the ByteBall distribution, which helped me to exchange the 87.21 MB earned in September, with 365.39 GRCs.
My numbers for the 40th week of 2018:
- Magnitude: 2.58
- Daily GRCs: 0.64 GRC
- Wallet: 4,525.52 GRCs
- Time Since Last Reward: 1 month, 3 days, 16 hours, 16 minutes
- Estimated Research Owed: 21.68 GRCs
- Estimated Interest Owed:6.26 GRCs

Thanking yourself seems a tad disingenuous.
In BOINC you can set a number of days of work your machine should have downloaded. In the future, you could set it to the number of days you will be gone when you leave so if your internet goes down it will still keep crunching.
