GUNBOT - PART2 - INSTALLATION

1 . The First Thing that you need to decide is which exchange you are going to use: bittrex, poloniex, kraken, binance, cryptopia or bitfinex.

2 . You will need a license for each of the exchanges that you want to use and you can buy packages that includes all license, 3 license or just one. To get more familiar with the gunbot I would suggest to start with one exchange license.

3 . When you will start the process of buying the gunbot you will need to provide your api public key which will be taken from the exchange you chose to use, to get the api key from bittrex for example check here:

4 . The api secret is for you only to keep and only fill it in the gunbot software itself later on with this tutorial.

5 . Now you will need to choose where to install the gunbot software. You should consider installing it on a dedigated pc that is always powered on and connected to the internet 24/7 or if you can afford it, a cloud virtual pc (on amazon or azure for example) this tutorial explains how to install on windows but you could install it on linux or mac/

6 . Download the latest version from here: https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/BTCT/releases/

7 . no need to install, just extract the compressed file to a new folder.

8 . run the file: gunbot-gui.exe - a black cmd will appear:

this means the local server is up and running and you can access the bot management through local webpage (as it says on the prompt)

9 . in chrome go to : http://localhost:5000 (if you get a firewall warning , choose allow)

after a password setup you will get this page:

choose " start without import".

10 . next you will need to fill in all the exchange api public and secret that you chose to trade with earlier:

this makes the bot recognize your license as the public key was registered on the gunbot servers when you've made your purchase.

11 . after that go to strategy page:


here you can see and set all the strategies the gunbot offers.
i will get deeper into all the setting in a later part but for now just know that the most basic setting in each strategy is the "Trading_limit" this is the actual amount that the bot will use to make a trade with the selected strategy. so if for example you have 1 bitcoin to play with in your exchange and you chose to trade for 10 btc pairs so it is advisable to set the "trading limit" to 0.1 . this will give the bot one buy for each of the btc pairs you chose. The basic setting will make the bot only buy once per pair . The bot will never buy more then once until it sold it which in this case, it will continue trying to buy once more.

12 . now go to setup - choose new setup:

in this page you need to choose the pairs that you will be using for the trades, a strategy for each of them and on which exchange they will run. I would suggest not running more then 8 pairs at once as the bot could buy too much and get stucked with "bags".

13 . after that you to dashboard , choose you previously created setup and run the bot:

if in the logs section below it will look something like this:

the bot is working and you can seat back and relax while it working for you :)
