There is a bit of disconnect. The primary for Bitcoin is as shown below, calling for sub $3k:
The Alternate count, and very good analyst maintains the alternates and ready to switch on the dime. The below is the Alternate showing that an impulse is potential.
So, as said in the STEEM analysis, at times, an Alt coin could hold the baton and lead the change in trend and perhaps STEEM is doing exactly that.
