Anyone else notice Haejin is powering down his Steem?

I wonder why?

This is great news for the steemit community as there will be more of the reward pool to go round for everyone else.

However, he could just be moving funds to setup other accounts so his self voting percentages don't look as bad. I am seeing accounts with no activity, just voting and reblogging haejins posts. Also those accounts are flagging anyone who comments on his posts that he doesn't like. All very fishy

And these large transfer to @Bittrex, I wonder if they are aware of his source of funds and if they have completed their money laundering checks??

Will investigate further ;)

An upvote if you want me to keep an eye on this would be appreciated

I'm not sure why he made 4 installments of transfer to Bittrex, but that's none of my business. He did do a lot of Memo spam to many people, though.

@Bittrex is a US based exchange and have to follow anti money laundering rules.

When millions are being transferred in a few days, questions should be asked about the source of those funds.

It is our business, as any negative news caused by this guy will effect all of us who use this platform

I think the memo spam was him going full tilt and not sure how to react when the community said, enough is enough.

I guess he either has multiple accounts or the account is managed by multiple people. He moved out around $65k SBD yesterday.

I also question why steemit went down early friday morning 11 am EST. Was it so he couldn't be flagged & get payouts?

I have noticed those accounts of his too. I have thought the same. Make a list of all the names. If those get big funds soon & upvote him. We know what he did.

I think there is a slight chance he is actually leaving. Or he may act like he is & resurface back here as another new account. And do the same stuff all over again with different accounts.

We do need to be vigilant. Everyone who uses steem has a stake in its success. People like - well, you know who - create some buzz in the short term, but are very damaging for the long term growth of the platform.

holy crap,,,, $28,000 + 25,000 + 10,000 + 1,000, haha he rape the pool so much

Yep, but the community said no, and we worked together to take him down a few notches. Hopefully this will prevent any one else from having the same idea.

how he can have so much power?
did he invest a lot of money?

how he can have so much power?
did he invest a lot of money?
how the war started?, can you explain to me?, because after reading a lot of things between the two of them, i don't know who is right and who is wrong

Carry on reading

Yeah, you need to read around for full detail. It's all on the blockchain. The gist of the story is:

He brought in a powerful account to upvote his posts daily, 10 times a day, for over $200 from him and his "buddy" alone.

Stats collected by @paulag showed that he was getting between 1.0%-1.5% of the reward pool, without counting in the @ranchorelaxo curation rewards. If more whales did what he did, the platform would not be sustainable.

In truths, other whales should have acted a while ago, but it didn't hit the breaking point until now.

Just so you know, self-vote, bid bot, etc. are not fundamentally bad. But, there is a point where they can be abusive when done excessively, especially for sub-par contents.

hmmm, so the starting point is he upvoted his post 10 times per day, and earn $200 without doing anything else.
hmmm i am understand now, but how this can be end?, because in the blockchain, there is no rules except for withnesses
HF 19 give permissions for that action.
But if all the whales continue to do that, hahaha Steemit will be destroyed :D
But again, Haejin uses his own money to buy some SP, maybe its not his fault too, because if i become him, i will do that too.

inother side, the actions (voting himself) everyday, with that "insane" amount, is not wise and maybe stupid, because many minnows like me need his help.

but again, if upvote robot join the war, its not wise too...

hmmm i am confuse starting here, how this war can be end, if two sides always defend their ego?,,,,

how about your view bro?

But again, Haejin uses his own money to buy some SP, maybe its not his fault too, because if i become him, i will do that too.

In all seriousness, if I had his SP, I would have either do what @freedom does, sell my votes by delegate to bots or use my SP to build a platform of a specific niche, like @curie.

Self-voting 10 times a day for $200+ is just greedy and shows signs of short-term cash grab.
