I have been using a 20 year old set of Ginsu knives and they have worked well for as long as I have had them, until the last month or two they started to fall apart. So I have been doing some knife research lately , I found a few sets I liked more then the set I ended up buying, but I did not want to pay $500. I ended you with these from amazon for $120 and I love them they are one solid piece of high carbon stainless steel and are razor sharp, and as an added bonus they came with a bamboo cutting board.
