Science Of Happiness

Happiness is the only ultimate thing because of which people do anything in their lives.This is not my statement,rather it was said by a Greek Philosopher ARISTOTLE of 384 bc and there is nothing wrong in it.

Today Science is also proving that everything we do is mainly for two reasons:
1.Either for finding Happiness or
2.For avoiding Sadness

In that case,our desperation of chasing happiness is natural.
If we compare human's today's conditions with 50 years old conditions,we have improved our standard of living,increased our age,made our lives more luxurious,but the interesting fact is that our happiness is not increased at all.
Recently scientists have researched on happiness very deeply.One of the biggest researches was a study on 15000 people about their happiness.They were basically asked about how happy they feel in every few hours via an app.
Finally scientists were able to study about how humans' happiness fluctuates during the day according to what they do.
A very common habit of humans is mind wandering,which means losing focus in present and thinking about past or future instances and imaginations.More mind wandering means less happiness.

If we truly want to be happy,then we have to stop our minds from losing focus from present.The real happiness is in living and experiencing the present moment,not in mind wandering.
