Another Drowning in Hawaii - this Time on Maui
On Friday we posted the warning about the ocean conditions being dangerous.
On Maui a man and a woman, from California decided to brave the rough ocean conditions at Napili Bay on the Northwest end of Maui.
They both got into trouble and had to be rescued.
The man just passed away. Details on their identities have not been released.
The ocean around Hawaii is beautiful, however it is very dangerous. The number of visitor drownings increases every year.
The State of Hawaii has informational campaigns at the airports in the baggage claim areas.
The whole problem is that a lot of people do not respect nature. We see this in our everyday life as a vast number of the population somehow feels mankind has a power over nature. Those people couldn't be more wrong.
