The Acacia Tree was brought to Hawaii from Taiwan in the 1920's. Lately some trees in Oahu Parks are having parts of their bark stripped. Officials believe it is because the bark can allegedly send you on a spiritual psychedelic journey when ingested.

eBay has banned people from selling the Acacia Confusa powder on their website. There are a couple of websites selling the product from Hawaii. Amazon, however, allows the sale of Acacia Confusa powder, seeds, and other products.
