Operation of Toshiba Brand Radiographic X-Ray Equipment (Winmind KXO 50 XM)
Understanding
X-Ray Equipment Radiography is a medical device that is used as an imaging device inside the patient's body by utilizing X-ray technology.
Aim
As a guide to using x-ray radiography equipment correctly and correctly.
Policy
Use of x-ray radiographic equipment is only done according to indications / provisions or at the doctor's instructions.
Procedure
- Prepare and install all parts of equipment needed.
- Push button "ON" (green) on the control panel box.
- Push button "ON" on the control table, wait until the unit is completely ready (indicator ready goes on).
- Select "Tube 2" for radiographic examination.
- Prepare the patient and arrange the patient's position.
- Enter and arrange cassette on bucky.
- Adjust the irradiation field through the light setting on the collimator.
- Set the kV (kilo Volt) selector, mA (mili Ampere) and S (second) in the control table as needed.
- Expose by pressing "READY" then press "EXPOSE" on the hand switch.
- Leave the x-ray equipment in stand-by conditions and take the cassette back from bucky.
- If the radiographer states that the results of the examination are adequate, remove the patient from the examination table, but if it is not sufficient, re-examine.
- When finished, reset the kVp selector, mA & S at the lowest position.
- Turn off the x-ray equipment by push button "OFF" and push button "OFF" again (Red) on the control panel box.
