Urine Notification; Check your body message via urine

It’s your boy, brother, friend and colleague again, who has always given you posts on lessons on health, nutrition and travels, as well as motivations.
Today, I want to bring to your awareness, the consciousness of your health through your urine. You don’t have to go to the health centre before you know something’s about your health, you can take note of the signs through discharge from your body, one of your excretion. That’s the #URINE

How much do you know about urine?
Well, let’s start with a brief introduction of #Urine.
Urine is a by-product as a result of metabolic actions in your body. That is a by-product as a result of chemical reactions that take place in the living cells of your body.
It is a liquid by-product which is an excrement from the body through your penis via the urethra.
Metabolism actions in your body clears unwanted and harmful substances in our body, that are in our bloodstream, some of these are excreted via sweat and some others via urine.
This urine contains water, salts and urea. Urea is formed from the metabolism of proteins in your body. This helps regulates the human body quite well.
The Formation of Urine:
I would summarize urine formation into just 3 major phases where it is formed. Urine is formed in the kidney, stored in the bladder and released out of the body through the urethra.
Urine formation takes place majorly in the kidney, in the organ known as the Nephron. On this nephron, different actions takes place to filter metabolic wastes from the human body. It consists of the Bowman’s capsule, Glomerular and some other parts.
The major function of the nephron is to regulate blood and chemical concentrations during urine formation, in different parts, it filters blood back into the body, water and salts. And then allows the others which are wastes to the body, and toxic to be passed across to the bladder and then to the urethra.
So, when you urinate and find blood coming out from your urine, this links to the nephron in the kidney. There a millions of nephron in the kidney performing this function of urine formation.
In this part, three major things are done, (I mean in the nephron in the kidney). They include
#Filtration; some call it ultrafiltration. Filtration of toxic substance from the body
#Reabsorption; reabsorption of useful minerals and blood back into the body
#Secretion; passing out of the waste already formed from the body through the urethra

When the urine is been filtered, this is done every time continuously in your body and then dropped in bits into the urethra sphincter till it is full. This then makes you’ve the feeling of wanting to urinate after the ureter sphincter is full.
This sphincter is not devolved in babies, that’s they bed wet. It opens up when it is full for you to urinate.
On average urine production in adult humans is around 1.4 litres of urine per person per day with a normal range of 0.6 to 2.6 litres per person per day, produced in around 6 to 8 urinations per day depending on state of hydration, activity level, environmental factors, weight, and the individual's health.
Just as our smartphones blink different types of light with variety of colours to notify us of activities on it, so also does the urine give us different colours to notify us of the state of health of our body.
The colour or appearance of our urine varies based on some factors especially on the hydration factor of the body. That is the hydration level of the body is a great determinant of the colour of our urine.
Mostly, the colour of urine in humans is pale yellow, but it ranges from transparent liquid to amber coloured liquid.
Note this; the colour of your urine indicates something in your body, take your urine colour as an indication for something in your body.
Every state of the urine colour defines something in your body. I should not continue without telling you what is responsible for urine colouration in the body.
Urobilin which is formed from the breaking down of heme of haemoglobin during the destruction of aging blood cells in the body, is responsible for our urine colouration.
Look at different urine indications from some past researchs;
Your Colourless urine indicates over hydration
Dark yellow colouration of urine indicates dehydration
Light orange coloured urine may be as a result of removal of excess Vitamin B from the bloodstream
Dark orange to brown urine may indicate jaundice
Other Characteristics to Note from our Urine;
Odour; the odour of our urine can interpret what we consumed or diseases or infections in our body.
Foamy Unrine; this can be an indication of protein in your urine and issues with the kidney
Some drugs and medications especially antibiotics can cause a change in your urine colour.
We mostly don’t take note of what we pass out of our body, as this can tell us what is happening within our body.
