Why You Should Not Skip Breakfast

In this part of the world, many commuters tend to skip breakfast most times all because they have to beat traffic by leaving their home as early as 4 a.m in the morning. It then becomes a regular habit as time goes on.

Skipping breakfast has been shown through research to increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. People who skip breakfast are at higher risk of gaining weight / becoming obese.

Eating breakfast helps to regulate cognitive functions of the body and helps to improve the brain function (memory). Lastly, people who don't miss breakfast tend to experience a calmer mindset than people who miss breakfast.

In order to improve your general wellbeing, you should try as much as you can never to miss breakfast.
