A few days ago i wrote about sugar and it's dastardly effects, which obviously accumulate over time. These are problems which most of course are simply "assymptomatic" for a while, then manifest into the beginning of the end of the one who does the excessive sugar intake.

BUT there are some really crazy effects of excessive sugar intake. Oh, which of them isn't crazy?

BUT SOME ARE DEAD SCARY CRAZY!

Some of these effects include:

Brain damage
liver damage
kidney failure
i hope you know how much a dialysis costs and how much it'll cost to fly you to the U.S or INDIA for a kidney replacement, that's if you eventually find a compatible donor who wont milk you dry of all savings and money donated to you for treatment.

I don't mean to creep you out though, the truth is sometimes scary. But not to worry we all love sugary things and in these times we find ourselves, it might seem quite hard to do bitter things. But here are cheap and natural homemade remedies if you notice there's a problem as a result of excessive sugar intake.

APPLE
On this one, the saying which goes "an apple a day, keeps the doctor away" is actually not a fallacy.
Apples are super rich in antioxidants they are known to contain flavanoids and dietary fiber.

what are antioxidants?
antioxidants are substances that prevent the destruction of our body's, these destruction is what leads to an overall effect of aging. so in one sentence, antioxidants prevent us from aging fast amongst others!

what are flavanoids?
in my words, flavanoids are plant pigments that have similar chemical base with that of flavones and flavones are crystalline compounds which form the basis of some white and yellow plant pigments...(i'll save you all the pharmaceutical and biochemistry jargons)

Bitter kola
This one is my favourite, i eat it most times and when i offer this to any of my friends, i get that usual reaction.

These awesome vegetables are one of the most powerful cures that exist in nature. They are rich in betacarotene, glutathione and vitamin A among others that i might not know. Carrots are good for the immune system and have good effects on the heart.

there's also a belief that eating carrots might cure leukaemia

carrots help reduce stress

carrots are really big sources of antioxidants

...and here's for those ladies on the size 12/13, if you don't feel comfy with your shape or size, some carrots and workouts may be what you need!

GARLIC

this fruit although bitter too, is great at detoxification. it turns toxins in the body into solubles hence allowing the body pass them out as urine. There's more!
But i wont bore you with those.
it is best take warm actually. Continue the lemon therapy for a month and see the beauty your body becomes.

SPINACH
This leafy vegetable is just amazing. Although i haven't really tried it, but here's what a health magazine says about it.

Note, if you live where there's a lot of mosquitoes, you probably don't want to gorge on lemons. Research shoes that increased vitamin-c could make you more susceptible to malaria.

I don't like sugar and I don't like all this other garlic, spinach things either. I guess it's "an apple every other day" for me then .

Very informative article. I have for long been pondering on who to go about the reduction of sugar in my system but here I learnt alot I shall stick to this your point

This is a very educative post, for the garlic, are we supposed to cook with food or a is there a special method for the sugar reduction technique?

I personally disagree with apples and carrots. Both are high in carbs and will spike insulin. Insulin is exactly what causes addiction.
