Brazilian letuce might kill you

Humans are the only species capable of crafting cancerigenous transformations. Strong agrotoxics have been banned around the world for a few decades already, but my country is just about to completely unban them. Don't want to die early? Don't eat our food.

Despite this being proven beyond reasonable doubt, the political / economical argument here is the difficulty bureaucracy imposes over using this poison, so they'll just remove it altogether! This is completely biased towards big companies' profits.

There is no other way... Not in our territory

There are known ways of growing plantations without resorting to pesticides. They revolve around using many different plants on the same soil, which increases it's strenght, greatly diminishing the presence of plagues.

But noone can be succesful this way, not in my nation, because the whole system is designed to battle your good intentions by both exxcessive futile paperwork and financial liabilities.

Better safe than sorry

Let me just say that again - this isn't a mere risk, agrotoxics cause cancer, period. It is an empirically proven scientific fact. If you keep eating our veggies, you will get cancer. Do due dilligence.

Did you know? There's a whole different industry being very benefited by this. The extremely profitable cancer treatment / pharmaceutical market.
