Boredom Is Actually My Friend.

''boredom is the root of all evil." by Søren Kierkegaard

I've been meaning to write about this for a few days now, but I've been simply too bored to do so. How is that possible? I have all the free time in the world, yet I feel like I have no time to actually get this article done.

Not only me, let me give you another example.

People will walk towards the bathroom, then double back for their phone. Or they’ll start the car for a quick drive to get some food, and then stand back up and go inside, unlocking the door again, riling up the dogs, all of it just to grab the phone.

Clearly boredom is not supposed to be on the menu. Whatever the future holds, it won’t be boredom.

In early 1900s, people got bored easily than now... If a kid was bored then,he will go out, roam, and observe the surroundings ->get some new ideas like Newton got about the falling apple,or Wright bros getting ideas of flight.

But now, majority of people get bored rarely due to unending world of internet and television. Many use the internet only for non-creative works like chatting, cheating, movies, etc. They are getting lazy and dumb as explained by Roald Dahl in the poem 'Television'.

This is just another example that boredom helps in improving creativity, the field in which our grandparents are better than us.

It is A good thing

Boredom is one of the signs that you are not being productive with your life; that you are not living your life the way you wish it to be lived. It is an opportunity for you to grow and it encourages you to journey new horizons in life. It is telling: You can do something.

Boredom gives the message that you should act upon your touch of madness in life. Stop wasting your life, do something:

Follow the dreams of your heart. Being bored is also a message saying that there is still room for growth and development for you. It shows that you have just hit your comfort-zone; that almost everything becomes a mechanical act.

Hence, it makes man realize that he can still do something more with his life.

Boredom is my friend.

Being bored can be a gateway to new ideas and creativity… By doing passive activities that most would consider boring can lead to greater creativity. By daydreaming, letting your mind wander.., you can tap into the subconscious and a whole new world of creativity and ideas, that you are not able to access if you are constantly on the go.

If we are not workaholics or multi-tasking -- we have been trained to feel guilty… But if you think about it, we are not only cheating ourselves out of all the brilliance that lives within us.., we are cheating the rest of the world too… For who knows the masterpieces that could have been created if you just slowed down -- turned off the phone.

It seems humans are naturally not so capable at simply doing nothing, and, given the chance, will for the most part fight to accomplish something.
Though nobody yet knows what evolutionary purpose boredom has,

So my guess is , it ain't actually bad to get bored sometimes

Thanks for reading.
