Today's Weed News for May 9th 2018 #GEORGIA

For today's weed news we go to the great state of Georgia.

This week in Georgia, Governor Nathan Deal signed into law a bill allowing those with PTSD as well as intractable pain to be eligible for medical marijuana.

Although this is a positive change, it is only a modest improvement at best. Patients have theoretically been allowed to use medical marijuana in Georgia since 2015, but to this day they are only allowed small amounts of oil.

Because the program is extremely restrictive, there are only about four thousand patients participating in Georgia's MMJ

You are still not allowed to transport, buy or grow cannabis in Georgia according to the Journal Constitution.

Hopefully Georgia will continue improving their medical marijuana program, even if it is little by little, and eventually give everybody access to the world's most useful plant.
