In Kyusho we research constantly, digging deeper into the human physiological functionality in Hospitals, Clinics and Labs around the world. We are never content with the same paradigm or methods, we always strive to refine, adapt and progress.

Kyusho translates to "Vital Point" in Health & Wellness, Martial Arts, Energetic Development and even Intimacy Enhancement. These experiments and implementations have helped us progress beyond the use of "Pressure Points" and concepts related to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), into application and manipulation of the human nervous system.

One method we employ from time to time is in Biofeedback and reading or mapping the affects via three dimensional brainwave measurement. Working this in tandem of sender and receiver lead to several important discoveries as well as new possibilities to explore.

As example how much influence does the mind have over matter in Health or Protection or any exchange between people. In Health it is paramount as the recipient must allow the healing process and not mentally fight or block the process. Similarly, the health provider must mentally attune to helping the recipient, just merely going through certain recipes for remedy like hiccups, may not work if the mind is not into it on both sides of the process.

First for the newer (to this topic) folks a quick rundown...

The 6 types of brainwaves:

Delta: is the frequency range up to 4 Hz and is associated with sleep.

Theta: is the frequency range from 4 Hz to 8 Hz and is associated with drowsiness, childhood, adolescence and young adulthood.

Alpha: (Berger’s wave) is the frequency range from 8 Hz to 12 Hz. Sensory motor rhythm (SMR) is a middle frequency (about 12-16 Hz) associated with physical stillness and body presence. A target will have trouble moving whenever this frequency is applied.

Beta: is the frequency range above 12 Hz. Low amplitude beta with multiple and varying frequencies is often associated with active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration.

Gamma: is the frequency range approximately 26-80 Hz. Gamma rhythms appear to be involved in higher mental activity, including perception, problem solving, fear, and consciousness.

Mu: ranges 8–13 Hz., and partly overlaps with other frequencies. It reflects the synchronous firing of motor neurons in rest state. Mu suppression is thought to reflect motor mirror neuron systems, because when an action is observed, the pattern extinguishes, possibly because of the normal neuronal system and the mirror neuron system "go out of sync", and interfere with each other.

In this series we spent a full 24 hours working with the brainwave mapping in healing process (like the recipes on my Steemit Blog), Hypnotics, and even using Kyusho to render the recipient unconscious.

Now I know that knocking each other unconscious may sound like a foolish procedure, but how else do you measure the full scope of the nuero system manipulations if you do not also add trauma. You see in order to fully understand healing, you absolutely must understand trauma and how to correct it.. with this approach we can gain far better insights into the healing processes of the body.

This study has yielded major insights into Health Arts, Mediation, Qigong, Martial Arts, Yoga and several other Holistic methods.

We do not think it is crazy, we think it is necessary, or in other words someone has to do it.

The search for knowledge through scientific approach was one of the reasons that made me join Kyusho International.

I'm just curious as hell.

I really respect the work you are doing. You seem passionate about deepening your understanding about how and why we function the way we do. And then sharing your findings with others on how to live a better/happier/healthier/more fullfilling life. Great respect. I'm a huge fan! :)

Thanks @steemed-open if not helping others what is there?

We have done research with Yoga as well...

So exciting! I'd love to read your findings from the yoga brain wave monitoring.
