It's so obvious authorities lie just to scare people into taking the shots. A few years ago, it was right in the middle of the flu season and not many in my country were willing to get the shot, so when a local TV personality got sick and died it was immediately announced he had the flu (I don't remember if it was any particular flu or the regular one). The story was all over the media, anyway. The result - in 24h there were long lines of people wanting to get the vaccine in all major cities. It took the family years to establish the truth - the guy did not have the flu and he had died from an infection he had acquired in the hospital.
