    • The fat loss benefit on intermittent fasting is the most reason why people would like to give a try.

  2. Growth Hormone
    • A man can increase up to 2000% on growth hormone and woman 1300%. IF is the main trigger to spike up growth hormone.

• Sleep, exercise, low carb, reduce stress, sun, and vitamin B3 can also increase on growth hormone but not as effective as intermittent fasting.

• Having more growth hormone is the benefit to build and maintain lean muscle, anti-aging, increase bone density, maximize exercise capacity, optimize mood and well-being, and enhanced immune system.

  1. Autophagy
    • Autophagy is so called a “self cleaning” machine that repairs and clean old proteins and nonfunctional cells. Basically, it rejuvenates your body. For example, if a refrigerator is packed with food in the past weeks and still adding more new food to it, the food in the past weeks is old and has no use to leave it in the fridge. Once we stop adding new food to the fridge the autophagy will activate and do the self cleaning in the fridge to get rid of all the old food.

  3. Mental Focus
    • When I was on Intermittent fasting for over 1 year, my mental focus has been improved. By not consuming carbohydrate and sugar throughout the day, I won’t get the tiredness, energy crash, and bad mental focus.

• Once you are on a fasted state, the insulin is sensitive and your body use the stored bodyfat as a clean fuel.
