You see beets are a very good source of fiber also just one cup of beets has like 3 grams of fiber you see the way this works is the fiber will by pass digestion and then goes to your colon and there it either becomes food for your gut good bacteria this can help to prevent issues like constipation and inflammatory bowel disease plus also diverticiulitis too,plus the fiber in the beets can help to prevent like colon cancer heart issues and also type 2diabetes too,plus beets are very good for like your brains health also you see the nitrates in the beets just may improve your mental health by justvthe dilation of your blood vessels and this will increase the blood flow to your brain,and the beets have shown to improve blood flow to the frontal lobe of your brain and this is where things like thinking and decision making and also your memory too.
