Well when sick one of the best food to eat a lot of Garlic,first of all garlic is an herb which has antibacterial and also antiviral and anti fungal effects and garlic can boost your immune system,plus a study found that people who took garlic got sick less often than those who did not take garlic,also taking garlic when sick did get better in about 3 days faster than those who did not take any garlic per a study,and you can use the garlic in like chicken soup and broth to add also flavor and much more effective to fight colds and flu,then we have good old Broths which are also a great source of hydration when sick,plus Broths have many vitamins and minerals like magnesium and calcium and phosphorous too,plus broths are great if you are having issues keeping food down if having stomach issues too,bone broth gets a lot of attention but more studies are needed on this.
