Create a mobile application to reduce anxiety
Living in big cities like London where time does not run, but flies, often damages the mental and mental state of people who move daily from home to work and work from home. It is not even necessary to lead a monotonous life to suffer anxiety. The UN predicts that by the year 2050, current anxiety data will grow globally by two-thirds, living in cities 50% of the current population.
A New Zealand couple left their jobs to create an application based on encouraging healthy thinking patterns. You have to be very clear about leaving the job that gives you food and they were motivated enough with their idea: to create an affordable tool for everyone and easy to use that will help anyone interested in discarding thoughts and negative emotions that people involuntarily become the cause of their busy lifestyles.
After reaching number one on New Zealand's most downloaded application lists, this revolutionary application, called Thinkladder, is now being released in the UK, where it is expected to be well received.
Specialists have shaped the mobile app
Thinkladder aims to go to the root of the problem, not simply hide it. To eliminate negative thought patterns, writers, therapists and many creative people made use of four therapeutic functions based on a cognitive behavioral therapy to solve the problem of anxiety.
The modus operandi of the application is as follows:
1 The first step is for the user to choose an attitude with which he identifies himself, from perfectionism to pleasure to help others.
2 In relation to the chosen attitude, a series of questions is generated and the users have to select the most typical symptoms with which that attitude is identified.
3 Then a list of useless common beliefs will appear on the screen and users will be able to challenge these subconscious thoughts that hurt them without realizing it.
4 Finally, a list of reflections can be added to the user gallery so that they can consult during their day and, thus, create paths towards a cognitive positivity.

Sounds like a really interesting app. I would likely give it ago.
Do you think that part of the problem of anxiety today is due to technology? We were never so easily judged or discussed before the technological boom, or if we were it was never so open for us to see? Nor so easy to say a nasty term on a message without the other person over hearing for example.
does it work? was there any research done that shows that it reduces anxiety?
this is such a great app! we need more people like them caring for the rest of us :)
