So we promised you an article about quad-copters.....well.....That's not it

We wanted to show you the new quad-copter from DJI (because we had to!)

In fact, it is not really new, nor is it really the DJI. This quad-copter started as a Ryze mass-raising project in collaboration with Intel. When they wanted to provide a cheap platform for programming developers without being MIT veterans.

In order to distribute it in an easy way, they turned to DJI, the world's largest quadcopter company, which adopted the idea because it was a cheap option for their expensive models. And with the signature of a giant like Intel, it was a win win.

So what do we have here?

A little quad who rises like a toy but wise like the "big" models.

They have taken all the basic functions like photo and selfie

Stability in one place

720p camera resolution

Approximation sensors

And flying in a sport mode that makes it fast

It lack a GPS, but its compensated by a system of sensors that places it in place up to 10 meters from the ground.

The remote was turned into a phone application (works better on IOS than on Android)

And I have to note that the remote control on the phone is so precise and good that there is no need to buy a remote control (which can be purchased separately for about 40$)

This is actually the best control application I've ever had (and I've had a lot of experience)

And now to the greatest advantage ...

The quad has piles of improvements and spare parts throughout the network which is very essential for the beginner pilot.
