Kayıp Kıta Mu
Asya ve Amerika kıtaları arasında yer alan, yaklaşık olarak Avustralya'nın iki katı büyüklüğünde olan bir kıtadır. Mu, büyük tufan esnasında sular altında kalarak kaybolduğu iddia edilen bir efsanevi kıtadır. Mu kıtası ilk olarak James Churchward isimli bir araştırmacı tarafından öne sürülmüştür. Araştırmacı Hindistan'da bulunduğu dönemde bir rahip ile tanışır ve rahip yardımıyla eski yazıtlardan Mu kıtası ile ilgili bilgi sahibi olur. Bunun üzerine de Mu kıtası ile ilgili bir kitap bile yazar.
Mu kıtasının gerçekliğini kabul edenlere göre, Mu kıtası yeryüzündeki ilk kıtadır ve Polinezya Mikronezya adaları Mu kıtasının kalıntılarıdır. Söylentilere göre 70 bin yıl önce kıtanın altındaki büyük gaz odaları patlamış ve neticesindeki büyük tufanla birlikte kıta, sular altında kalmıştır.
